David Smolansky: “It is necessary to combat the networks that promote human trafficking”

The Commissioner of the Organization of American States (OAS) for the Crisis of Venezuelan Migrants and Refugees, David Smolansky, regretted that there are more and more registered cases of Venezuelans victims of human trafficking.

“A greater effort is needed to protect and guarantee the rights of the victims,” Smolansky said in a message posted on his Twitter account.





The official of the Legitimate Government also highlighted the importance of combating the criminal networks that promote this type of crime, taking advantage of the humanitarian crisis suffered by Venezuelans.

Human trafficking is a crime that exploits women, children and men for many purposes, including but not limited to forced labor and sexual exploitation.
