Ms. Power highlighted that in this wave of human rights violations committed by the regime, Javier Tarazona, Rafael Tarazona, Omar García from ‘FundaREDES’ and more recently, deputy Freddy Guevara, have been deprived of their liberty for political reasons.

“Silencing these voices does nothing to address the great crises facing Venezuelans,” she concluded.

Meanwhile, the Venezuelan Ambassador to the United States, Carlos Vecchio, thanked Ms. Power for highlighting the crimes committed by Maduro’s regime.
